A Passion Born at Home
Toria has always had a passion for cleaning ever since she was a little girl she was fascinated with hoovers and would always play ‘cleaners’ as a child around the house with toy hoovers until she was old enough to actually clean and help around her family home – still to this day Toria expresses how she finds cleaning therapeutic and how the feeling of a clean space after she’s spent time cleaning it gives her such satisfaction and feel good calmness.
THE JOURNEY
From Cabin Crew to Cleaning
Toria has a background in the Tourism & events industry in which she graduated with a BA Hons degree back in 2014. Since then, she spent around 3 years travelling, working & living throughout southeast Asia and Australia before returning to the UK to start a career in a company that she has always been in awe of, Virgin Atlantic. Toria worked in many customer service roles, the latest being cabin crew which she absolutely loved. This role gave her the fabulous opportunity to keep exploring the world whilst doing what she likes to do the most: providing the best customer experience to customers. Unexpectedly, the pandemic hit which had a massive impact on Toria’s cabin crew career which resulted in her being on furlough and living back at home in Swansea. To keep Toria’s mind and body busy during this time she started cleaning for family & friends which gave her a sense of purpose again. With the chances of going back to her cabin crew role being slim, the vision of setting up a small cleaning business grew. The more she researched the cleaning industry in Swansea, and the more she talked about her vision to family & friends, the more she felt there was an opportunity and niche in the market for a reliable, trusting, enthusiastic cleaner in the area.
THE BUSINESS
Toria Took the Risk
This idea grew rapidly overnight and soon Toria found herself with a Hetty vacuum, pink apron, and casual bucket of cleaning chemicals ready to go. Toria was relieved she felt that purpose again and enjoyed the chaos a new business brings, until Virgin Atlantic called for Toria to go back as the tourism industry started to recover. Toria managed to balance both for a couple of months but as you can imagine, this got too much and Toria had to make a hard decision: either give up her dream career which was away home but knew she loved, or give up on her new business she created that had so much potential and was based in her hometown. Toria took the risk, and here we are today.
Being truly inspired throughout her twenties by Virgin Atlantic’s ethos, Toria launched The Ready Maids Services Limited integrating the same principles into her operations by creating a business that delivers an exceptional service, fostered positive work environments, and continuously seeks innovation. Having 15 years’ experience in customer facing roles has significantly enhanced Toria’s customer service skills and in turn, have been invaluable towards her starting up and managing her cleaning business. Training in maintaining high standards of service translates directly to managing quality and attention to detail in the cleaning industry, ultimately leading to higher customer satisfaction and loyalty. Toria’s aim is to create a cleaning service that not only meets but exceeds client expectations and prioritises their experience consistently with a commitment to excellence throughout.

Are your cleaners insured and vetted?
Yes. Every member of our team is DBS-checked, fully insured and trained before working on any client site, whether it's a home or a business.
Do I need to provide cleaning products or equipment?
No, our team brings everything needed, using professional-grade and eco-conscious products, so there's nothing for you to organise beforehand.
Can I book a one-off clean, or do you only do ongoing contracts?
Both are available. Many clients start with a one-off booking and move to a regular schedule once they're happy with the results, though there's no obligation to.
What if I'm not happy with the clean?
Let us know as soon as possible. We'll always look to put things right, whether that means a re-clean of the areas in question or another solution that works for you.
